I’ve created bibliosk8 to do some blogging about a few things, but mainly skateboarding and web/technology things. I’m a librarian — thus the “biblio”.  A few other areas I’m interested in are “new economy” issues, web-related/enabled businesses, business in general, and social networking.

In December 2006 I began studying/practicing Aikido. So I’m writing a lot about my learning process.

I’m also interested in science, skepticism, pseudoscience, kooks, etc. So I may write about that stuff.

I occasionally go to some professional conferences, so I’ll be using this site to blog about my experiences there too. Hopefully this will help transfer some knowledge to my colleagues. I’ll also be posting skateboard product reviews, images, video, and other projects.

It is my goal to make this blog entertaining, or useful, or both. Thus, I’ll be going for quality over quantity, and not trying to write about everything the floats through my head.
